Holly was a much-loved family pet. When she died, our family worked through the sadness together by coming up with all the fun adventures she was having in Heaven. We sat together every night and imagined what she did that day with her new friends in Heaven.
This book shares some of those adventures and lets your family think about what your pet is up to. You will answer questions, draw, and write stories to capture memories and laugh about the new experiences they are having.
10 Days in Heaven
Colorful pictures and fun stories get kids engaged in Holly’s adventures. They will look forward to getting creative in creating magical days for the pet they miss. Reading about Holly and following prompts allows children to talk about their feelings and remembering their favorite things.
Memories & Adventures of Your Pet
After you meet Holly, you will answer questions about your pet and paste or draw pictures. Then for each of Holly’s 10 adventures, your family will create one for your pet. At the end of Holly’s story, you can continue to add ideas and pictures, and you have a wonderful book filled with all the special things about your pet and your children’s ideas of what is making them happy in Heaven.
